Changing Directions and Following Your Passions in Your Business
It's been a year since I left my full time job to pursue this business full time...which is crazy to me. A lot of things have changed since last year, and that's exactly what should happen as a business grows. You should always have goals and take steps to move you forward, which means that there may come a time when you drop or add products and services that you offer. After over a year in business, I've come to realize what I love most about my little business and have chosen to focus my energy on that.
How I Realized What I Love Doing
I've met so many business owners this past year and have loved helping them sort out all of their business ideas. As a business owner myself, I know that there are so many ideas swirling around in your head, new things to learn from webinars and podcasts, and things everyone tells you that you should be doing. But I also know it can be so overwhelming to determine where to start first or what to do next. Having coffee chats with other business owners has shown me that I love walking through their businesses with them to determine the next steps for them to take. It's also shown me that sometimes we business folks have a hard time focusing on our own businesses when we have client work to do. If I could spend all day, every day talking to you about your business I would!
What I added to My Services
I'll still be offering all the typical virtual assistant services (blogging, email marketing, social media management, Pinterest) but I've decided to start adding consulting strategy and accountability sessions too! I probably seem crazy, but I get so much joy out of helping entrepreneurs like you determine what's next for your business and then holding you accountable to getting that done so your business continues to grow. I've created several packages ranging from one week to 8 weeks of strategy and accountability all built around your business. I've also just announced to those who receive the Social Briefs, that I'm launching a very small group program that covers the same thing, but on a group scale and hopefully is more affordable for you. Its called The Social Task Force and you can grab all the details below.
What does this mean for you?
If you're still looking for assistance managing your blog or handling your social media, I am still taking VA clients. But if you're looking to get more organized, stay focused, and nail down your direction, then I've got you covered on that to! If it's time for you to buckle down and get to work, book your consult today so we can get started today!
How can you change directions in your business?
Maybe you're thinking of changing directions with your business too, and wondering how you can make the switch. I say just go for it. You can plan a whole launch (and I've done some launch tactics without a full launch strategy), but you can also just change the products or services listed on your website. Start talking about it in blog posts, newsletters, and on social media. It doesn't have to be a big deal, if you're passionate about it just do it!
